Dr.Iqbal Ahammed A K

Dr. IQBAL AHAMMED A K has been serving as the Professor and Research Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management, Bhatkal. He has good experience at both the industry and academic levels. He joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at AEC, Bhatkal, INDIA in August 1998 as a Lecturer. He was promoted to Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the years 2000, 2008, 2013, and 2021, respectively. His research interests include soft computing, artificial neural networks, power electronics, control systems, nonlinear systems, fuzzy logic systems, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, image processing, and machine learning. He has more than 13 publications to his credit, published in international journals and at international and national conferences. He had recognized the research supervisor under VTU, Belagavi, and Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, guiding five PhD students (one research scholar from VTU and four research scholars from MAHE, Manipal). He is a life member of the Institute of Engineers (MIE) and also a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
