Dr. J. Anvar Shathik

Dr. J. Anvar Shathik is currently serving as a Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Anjuman Institute of Technology & Management in Bhatkal, Karnataka. He is an experienced faculty member with a proven track record in the higher education industry. Dr. Anvar Shathik is a proficient trainer in Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Structures, C, C++, and Java Programming. His research focus lies in Image Processing and Computer Vision. Additionally, he holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Srinivas University. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Image Processing at Srinivas University in 2024. With 20 years of teaching experience across various colleges and universities, Dr. Anvar Shathik has demonstrated his expertise and leadership as the Chief Coordinator for various events. He has 19 patents, including Indian design and Australian patents, under his name and has published 20 papers in reputed journals including SCI, Scopus and WoS Indexed journals. He has also authored seven textbooks in Computer Science and Engineering. Furthermore, he serves as an Editorial Board Member for several international journals.
